WIDE SHOTS

I think everyone has their little photographic niche that they enjoy shooting. My brother for example appears to have adopted an admiration for hotel bathrooms. I can only think that this is because taking pictures in public lavatories is so very difficult these days.

Anyway, my niche has always been the more cheesy aspects of photography. In my early days I was mocked for my love of creative filters, notably the ND, Pink and 'Tabby' grads. Of course these days you can put all that in digitally afterwards. However, true cheese requires a suitable wide lens in order to get some serious barrel distortion and, with luck, a little vingnetting.

So this page is dedicated to the my lovely Sigma 10-20mm that once again brings home the cheese.
